Chempart SC100 is your Polysaccharide Resin of choice; specially modified to become a film forming resin.
It is a coactive forming a hydrogen bonding with alkyd.
What would that do?
It stabilizes the water molecules within the solvent-based enamel, coating the dispersed water droplets surrounded, impeding their attraction with each other and promoting steric stabilization of the water- in-oil emulsion During the drying process. Also, water evaporation C (Chempart SClOO) prevents void and pin-holes formation and works to maintain the film’s durability and performance.
